The Sarnia
Sting held their annual awards presentation
on Friday at the SSEC.

Steve Stamkos was the top award recipient
earning top honors in 4 categories that
included: Top Scorer, 3 Star Award winner,
Most Popular Player of the Year
and the Player of the Year. Ryan Wilson earned 2 awards for
Humanitarian of the Year Award
and the Top Defensemen Award. A new
award called the Commitment to Condition
Award was presented to
Matt Martin and Jordan Hill. Jordan
Hill also shared the Rookie of the Year
Award
with Tomi Karhunen. To round out the
Sting player awards Steve Ferry and Jared
Gomes
shared the Scholastic Player Award.
Special
recognition was given to the Graduating
Players that included
Brett Oliphant, Justin DiDiomete, Steve
Ferry, Andrew Perugini and Devin DiDiomete.
