Sting News:- 

 

Sarnia Sting General Manager Alan Millar announced the club has acquired Jamie Arniel from the Guelph Storm in exchange for Harrison Reed and a conditional draft pick in 2010. Arniel, a native of Kingston, scored 31 goals for the Storm last season and had 62 points.  This season Arniel has 9 goals in 20 games played.
 

Tis' the Season
The Sarnia Sting joined in the festivities and participated in Sarnia's annual Santa Claus parade the night before.

 

 

Steven Stamkos scored the first goal for Sarnia after which the Teddy Bear's starting flying!  Thousands of people young and old participated!  The Teddy Bears will be collected and distributed around Sarnia/Lambton this Christmas. Thank you Sarnia!
 




Sarnia Sting Auction - ends December 10

On November 10th the Sarnia Sting honoured the Sarnia Legionnaires hockey club in wearing specially designed “throwback” jerseys. The jerseys featured the Legionnaire logo as well as a special logo featuring a poppy with the words “Lest We Forget”. Also the Sarnia Sting third logo is featured on the shoulder patches.

These are a one of a kind collectable perfect for all sports memorabilia enthusiasts as well as local hockey fans who want to own a piece of Sarnia hockey history. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Sarnia branch 62 of the Royal Canadian Legion.  Bids are accepted until December 10th.  If your a collector check it out!
