Sting News:
The Ontario Hockey League announced the top student athletes for the semester one of the 2007-08 school year. Sarnia Sting Steve Ferry who attends the University of Western was included as one of the top student athletes.

Every OHL player is currently in high school or post-secondary school or have already graduated from high school. The OHL player’s success rate in high school for the first semester of this year was 96% while the success rate for university was 94% and for Independent Learning Centre, the success rate was 100%.

195 OHL graduates are currently playing Canadian University hockey on scholarships from their OHL clubs.
