Sting Tournament for Sunshine Raises $13,700

Sarnia, On - The Sarnia Sting Hockey Club in conjunction with the organizing committee for the Sting Tournament for Sunshine are thrilled to announce that the tournament raised $13,700 for the Sunshine Dreams for Kids Organization.

Tournament Chair, Jim Foubister, expresses his delight with the result in saying, "We wanted to provide a fun day of golf, some exposure for a worthy cause and get some money in place to help a Kid receive his or her dream request - the first two we did thanks to the efforts of a dedicated Sting organization and an outstanding facility - the third part, the financial part, exceeded all of our expectations and now more Sunshine Kids are going to receive benefit from this event."

The tournaments success, in addition to the involvement of Sting players, was due to the participation of all golfers, the generosity of numerous sponsors and prize donors, the incredible staff at Huron Oaks, and all of the Sunshine Dreams for Kids volunteers.
