Sarnia Sting General Manager Alan
Millar announced that 16-year old
forward Colt Kennedy has committed
to the club.
Kennedy who hails from Ajax, Ontario
was the Sting’s first round
selection (12th overall)
in the 2007 OHL Priority Selection.
Last season with the Ajax Raiders
Major Midgets Kennedy recorded 20
goals and 23 assists in 46 games.
OHL Central Scouting describes
Kennedy as "A smooth skating
centreman that possesses a ton of
offensive ability. A great skater
displaying one of the best strides
of all eligible players. With his
skating he should be a top player
that dictates how the game will be
played." - OHL Central Scouting
Colt will be attending grade 11 at
Northern Collegiate Secondary School
in the fall.
