Sarnia won their first of three road games in Peterborough Thursday - details below.

After Friday's game Sarnia moves into 8th place in overall standings - and moves into 3rd place in Western Division with a total 13 wins 9 losses.

Earlier this week it was announced that Colt Kennedy was selected to the U17 Team Ontario squad that will play at the 2008 World Hockey Challenge beginning on Dec 29, 2007 to Jan 4, 2008.  London Ontario will play host to this year's tournament.  This international event features five regional teams competing from across Canada and five
international teams from Finland, Germany, Russia, Slovakia and USA.  Team Ontario will play in a conference against Team Pacific, Quebec, Finland and Slovakia.

Sarnia Sting Auction -

On November 10th the Sarnia Sting honoured the Sarnia Legionnaires hockey club in wearing specially designed “throwback” jerseys. The jerseys featured the Legionnaire logo as well as a special logo featuring a poppy with the words “Lest We Forget”. Also the Sarnia Sting third logo is featured on the shoulder patches.

These are a one of a kind collectable perfect for all sports memorabilia enthusiasts as well as local hockey fans who want to own a piece of Sarnia hockey history. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Sarnia branch 62 of the Royal Canadian Legion.  Bids are accepted until December 10th.  If your a collector check it out!
