The Sting lose 2 more on
the road

The Sting
suffered two more losses
on the road over the
weekend with 3 - 1
losses against
Mississauga and
Brampton.
On Friday they were in
Mississauga and Justin
DiBenedetto score the
lone goal in the first
period to put the Sting
up 1 - 0.
Mississauga evened it up
in the second and took
the lead in the 3rd and
added the insurance goal
dumping it into the
empty net. Sarnia
outshot Mississauga 32 -
22. Both sides
went 0 for 5 in the
powerplay coversion.
On Sunday
the Sting travelled to
Brampton. Both
sides went scoreless in
the first period and in
the second Brampton
scored 2 unanswered
goals the first on the
powerplay to take the
2 - 0 lead after two
periods. Ryan
Berard would put the
Sting in closer range
when he scored just :12
seconds into the 3rd
period but Brantford
would regain their 2
point spread by adding
their 3rd goal on
another powerplay.
Sarnia couldn't make the
comeback and took the
second 3 - 1 loss on the
weekend.
Shots on net were close
with Sarnia making 35
and Brampton 36.
Powerplay conversions
went to the Battalion as
they scored on 2 out of
10 and the Sting went 0
for 9.
Next up
the Sting travel to
Plymouth on Wednesday
where they will try and
break their away game
losing streak.
They return home on
Friday where they will
face the Saginaw Spirit.
Game time is at 7:35 pm
