Sarnia scored a lone
goal in the first period

Gomes. In the
second the
Sting scored 3
unanswered goals (the
first 2 on powerplays)
to go up 4 - 0 at the
end of two periods.
Steve Stamkos scored the
first goal assisted by
Devin DiDomete and Ryan
Wilson. DiDiomete
scored the second goal
of the period assisted
by Justin DiBenedetto
and Mark Katic and the
final goal of the period
was scored by
DiBenedetto from
DiDiomete and Stamkos.
Third period action saw
the Sting add 1 more
goal on their 3rd
powerplay with Steven
Stamkos scoring assisted
by Harrison Read and
Justin DiBenedetto.

Tomi Karhunen earned his
first shutout of the
season in the win.
Sarnia outshot the
