Starting in net for the Black Team was Peter DiSalvo and Chris Cohen in for the White Team.
In the first period the Black team lead with a score of 2 - 0.  Steven Stampkos scored the first
 goal early in the period and Michael Santini added the second.  Shots on goal White 16 - Black 18

To start the second period Johnathon McQueen was in net for the Black Team and
Tomi Karhunen was in for White. 
  
The tempo quickened a bit more heading into the second where White lit up
the scoreboard for the first time when Justin Balbino scored.  The Black team then came back
and widened their lead with 3 more goals.  The first Kurtis Bartliff standing in front
took a pass from behind the net and dumped it in.  It was a pretty tic tac toe play that
ended on the stick of Stamkos who was sitting in front and dumped it in for the second.  Mark Katic
wound up and blasted one in for the 3rd goal for Black. 


The White added their second goal when Matt Smyth found the right top corner and rifled it in.
In the final minute white pulled their goalie and hometown boy Jordan Hill took it in and scored.

Final Score Black 5 - White 3.
Shots on net -  White - 37, Black - 34

Action continues today (Sunday Sept 2) at the SSEC with the second Exhibition game against the London Knights.
