Sarnia Sting 1 vs Owen Sound Attack 2

Home Opener!

The Owen Sound Attack upset the Sarnia Sting at their home opener before a 4,092 fans with
a final score of 2 - 1.  The Attack lead 1 - 0 after the first period on a goal by Joshua Domingues at 11:20.

  At 9:35 in the 2nd period Matt Martin scored (his 3rd for the season) unassisted to tie the game.  In the third Owen Sound scored early in the period to regain the lead which they held on to take the win.  Scoring the game winning goal was Joey Hishon.   David Davenport was in net for Owen Sound taking a total
of 36 Sting shots.  Tomi Karhunen was in net for the Sting taking 34 shots.

The Sting went 0 for 3 on the powerplay - Owen Sound went 0 for 2.

 The Sting are now 1 - 3 for the season as they go head to head against Kitchener on Sunday
at the SSEC with a puck drop at 6:05 pm.
