Captain

Alternates
For
2007-2008
Season

Sting

Manager
Alan
Millar
announced
this
morning
that the
hockey
club has
named
its
Captain
and
Alternate
Captains.
The
Captain
is
veteran
defenceman
Ryan
Wilson.
Wilson a
native
of
Windsor,
Ontario
enters
his
fifth
year in
the
league
and this
will be
his
second
season
as Sting
Captain.
This
will
mark the
first
time in
club
history
that one
player
has
served
as the
team
Captain
for
consecutive
seasons.
The
Alternate
Captains
are
Harrison
Reed,
Devin
DiDiomete,
Steven
Stamkos
and Mark
Katic.
The
Sting
now get
set to
head to
Windsor
tonight
to take
on the
Windsor
Spitfires
before
returning
to the
SSEC for
tomorrow
night’s
home
opener
versus
the Owen
Sound
Attack.
Tickets
are
still
available
for the
home
opener
against
the Owen
Sound
Attackand
can be
purchased
by
calling

or
visiting
the SSEC
box
office
in
person.
The box
will
open at
9am
Friday
remaining
open
through
the
second
period
of
tomorrow
night’s
game.
