Sarnia Sting 1 at Oshawa Generals 4
The Sting have a busy weekend with 3 games on the road with
the first in Oshawa at the General Motors Centre where they
took a 4 - 1 loss.
Oshawa scored 1 goal on a powerplay in the first and added 2
in the second to take the 3 - 0 lead heading into the final
period. Jamie Arniel scored a powerplay goal late in the
period to put the Sting on the board and in the attempt to
do more damage with the extra man on Oshawa scored into the
empty net to end the game with a 4 - 1 total.
Sarnia shots on net totaled 29 - Oshawa 31. Sarnia
went 1 for 6 on the powerplay - Oshawa went 1 for 5.
Dan Spence went the distance in net for the Sting.
On Saturday the Sting head to Barrie for
their second game then on Sunday they are back on the road
to Sudbury. |
