Sarnia Sting at Kingston Frontenac's

The Sting closed their 3 game weekend
tour with a win over the Frontenacs with a final score of 4 - 2.
Justing DiBenedetto started things off
early at 1:23 to take the lead, at 5:14 the Frontenac's answered back
until 9:16 when DiBenedetto scored his second of the night. The
period would end with Sarnia leading 2 - 1.
In the second period Sting Chris
Beauchamp scored the lone goal in the period and added his second Sting
Career goal to put the Sting up 3 - 1.
In the first minute of the 3rd two rapid goals were scored the first by
Kingston at :25 seconds into the period and at :41 seconds Sarnia's
Steeve Reese came back. That would be the end of the scoring for
the rest of the game giving Sarnia the win with a final score of 4 - 2.
Sarnia outshot Kingston 36 - 23. Newly acquired Dan Spence was in
net for the Sting picking up his first win as a Sting. Both sides
went 0 for 4 in powerplay opportunities.
The Sting are back at home next weekend
with a game on Saturday November 1 with the London Knights coming to
town. Game time 7:30. |
