Sting fans were celebrating as the Sting
won their first home game before a crowd of 3,346 people! After
taking a single point in the shootout loss the previous night the Sarnia
Sting fans finally went away with a win.
Sting goaltender Matt Hache would earn
the shutout with an outstanding performance in net to earn him the first
star of the night. Matt Martin was the #2 star of the night as he
lead the Sting by scoring a pair his first 2 of the season. Steven
Reese added a single to round out the scoring.
