Sarnia, ON –
Sarnia Sting General Manager Alan Millar
announced on Tuesday evening that the hockey
club has reassigned 11 players to their
respective junior clubs following this
afternoon’s on ice session. With today’s
moves the current roster sits at 36 players.
Goaltender Chris Cohen, defencemen Chris
Hawkins, Kyle Quick and Scott Somerville and
forwards Brandon Alderson, Drew Henry, Erik
Lekun, Zack MacQueen, Brendan Nicholson,
Tanner Rutland and Brett Vickers were the
players that were reassigned.
The hockey club continues training camp
Wednesday morning with on ice practices
scheduled for 9:00 am and 10:00 am and then
an intra squad game scheduled for 4:00 pm.
Pre-season action begins on Friday night
when the Sting travel to London to take on
the Knights. Game time is 7:30.
