This was the final opening night at the Barn as the Spitfires will move
into their new arena later this season. Emotions ran high in a
touching pre game ceremony in honor of former Spitfires captain Mickey
Renaud as #18 was retired and raised.
In the game the Sting were shut down and took a 5 - 0 loss.
Windsor scored 2 in the first 1 in the second and another pair in the
third.
Despite the loss Shayne
Campbell of the Sting would shine as the 15 yearold was outstanding in
net making a total of 51 saves.
Shots on goal for Sarnia was 23 - Windsor 56

The Sting are back in action tonight when they host
Saginaw at the SSEC. Game time 7:30 pm.
