The Megalomaniacs took on the Pylons.  After falling behind 8-4 at half, the Pylons changed their defensive strategy from man-on-man to a 3-3-1 zone for the second half.  Although the zone helped score a few points, they could not stop the quick passes of the Megalomaniacs, who took the game 15-7.

Spread Condor faced last year's runners up the Cookie Monsters.

Despite only having only three men show up to the game, the seven women of the Cookie Monsters helped carry them to a shortened 12-7 pre-season victory.

Spread Condor has a lot of rookies this season and had troubles moving the disc against
the wind.

The Port Huron Ultimate Club (P.H.U.C.) matched up against Totally Unfit.  This being P.H.U.C.'s 5th year in the league showed their experience displaying well organized offense and defence, taking the match 15-4.  Totally Unfit hopes to take a more American approach when they meet P.H.U.C. in a rematch later this season.

In the last match up, last year's champs the Ultimate Suspects took on Russian wanna be's, Red Army.  The Ultimate Suspects held the lead throughout the match winning 15-10.  New players on both team showed a lot of potential and promise for the upcoming season.

On a bye this week were last years third place finishers Hungate's Mom.
