out on top in this yearly event with a final score of 7 - 5
over Team Micor.
Gold Medal Team Canada Winner and Sarnia Sting Player Steven
Stamkos was on hand for the ceremonial puck drop to start
the game.

1st Period:
Darren Foubister (SCHR) for
Team Outfitters & Mitch Core (SCSS) for Team
Micor were the starting goalies in the first
period. Team Outfitters took a 2 - 0 lead
in the first with goals scored at 3:18 by Kris
Mandeville (SPHS) from Jesse Drydak (SCHR) &
Mark VanMoorsel (NLSS) and at 1:27 Brett
Thompson (SCHR) from Jesse Drydak (SCHR) & Adam
Cooper (SCSS). |

2nd Period:
In the second Team Micor put
the pressure on and scored 3 goals to take the
lead but Team Outfitters fought back and tied
things up and the two sides headed into the
third tied 3 all. Scoring for Team Micor
were Alex Dawson (LCCV) from Duncan MacSorley (LCCV)
& Dan Lumley (SCSS) at 14:41. At 8:38
Tyler Veenendaal (SCHR) from Lance Ross (SCSS) &
Thomas Flaminio (SCHR) and the final Micor goal
in the period was at 7:47 by Dac Hiller (NCIV)
from Trevor Duncan (LCCV) & Will Brandon (SCSS).
Scoring for Team Outfitters was Zack MacQueen (NCIV)
from Kris Mandeville (SPHS) 3:00.

3rd Period:
Third period scoring was a flip flop as both
sides went back and forth with Team Outfitters
taking the lead at 18:47 on a goal by Bobby
Walsh (SCSS) from Adam Marshell (NCIV).
Micor answered back to tie at 10:40 - with
Philip Gimpel (SPHS) scoring unassisted.
Team Micor took the lead once again when Trevor
Duncan (LCCV) scored from Dac Hiller (NCIV) &
Cody Curts (NLSS) at 9:20. But here on out
it was all Team Outfitters as they came back and
scored 3 unanswered goal to finish the game with
a final score of 7 - 5. Scoring the
remaining goals were Brett Thompson (SCHR) from
Mason Bresett (NLSS) & Derek Nap (SCSS) at 5:25.
At 3:45 Joel Parker (LCCV) scored assisted by
Adam Cooper (SCSS) & Greg Charlton (LCCV) and
the final goal at 3:25 by Zack MacQueen (NCIV)
from Andrew Sokol (NCIV) & Adam Marshell (NCIV).
