St. Patrick vs SCITS

St.Pats
scored in the first minute of the game on a
power play by Philip Gimpel, and again 2 minutes
later by Ryan Blommers to take a quick two goal
lead. SCITS settled things down after that,
playing solid defencively until the final
seconds of the period when Philip Gimpel scored
again.
In the second period, play was close until St.Pat's scored two quick ones
at the midway point of the period, by Philip
Gimpel (for the hat-trick) and Joel Murray.
SCITS starting goalie Connor McKinlay was then
replaced by Tye Belanger. However late in the
period, St.Pats added another by Brett Deley.
In the third period, Connor McKinlay returned to the net for SCITS and
made some solid saves. In a much closer 3rd
period, St.Pats did manage to notch three more
goals in the final frame, by Brett Deley (his
2nd), Kris Mandeville and Trevor McCormick.
St.Pats goalie Brent Maheu made some solid saves
when called upon to record the shutout. |
