St. Pat’s Senior Girls Volleyball team captured the championship title this past weekend at the St. Clair Colts tournament.  Strong team play coupled with great athleticism powered the Irish to victory. 

St. Pat’s went 5-1 in pool play including with their only loss being to St. Clair.  The Irish then went on to defeat the LCCVI Lancers in two straight to move on to the championship.  In the final St. Pat’s rallied from a shaky first set and won the second and third sets in convincing fashion to claim the championship. 

Tournament MVP for St. Pat’s was Conchita Humphreys who had many serve aces and kills throughout the tournament.

All players played key roles in the victory.  The team consists of Maggie Mullen and Charito Humphreys (team captains), Conchita Humphreys, Ciji Service, Rebecca Cobb, Genevieve Burton, Colleen Lamb, Sara Jackson, Kaitlyn McLean, Brooke McGill, Julie Sokol, Kristyn VandenEnden.

Coaches are Dr. Keith Concisom, Mr. Ben Goetz and Mrs. Kelly Goetz.
