2009 LSSAA Champions
 

It was a heartbreaking 1 - 0 loss for the SCITS Blue Bombers as LCCVI took the LSSAA title in a very close game.
 

LCCVI Mitch Robb went 4 innings on the mound and Tim Boersma went 3  for the win. Both pitchers had a single strike out.  Ben Dupuis led the team with 2 hits and brother Jace had a single and scored the winning run in the top of the 6th inning.  Coach Paul Sokol was extremely happy with the win and said "we played a great defensive game and our pitching was good".
 

SCITS was led by the strong pitching of Nick Reid and Rory Fell and a combine total of 6 strike outs.  Nic Maxwell and Nick Reid each had single hits.

The Blue Bombers were undefeated for the season and recently won the SWOSSA title giving LCCVI  the opportunity to move onto the Western Region Qualifying round that will take place in Hamilton.
The top 2 teams in the Western and Eastern Divisions will go on to the final round that will be played in Toronto on June 9 - 10.
