"It's a good achievement for our guys,"
LCCVI head coach Bob Gould said. "But
now the real season begins for us."
With the loss the Cyclones were officially
eliminated from the playoffs.
"Looking at the big picture our guys gave it
their all," Cyclones coach Bill Reid said
after the game.
"We had to take some chances in the third
but the guys bounced back. The Cyclones,
only trailed 2-1 going into the final frame,
but couldn't get any closer.

Trevor Duncan, Cody McPhail,
Dylan Lightfoot and
Jake McPhail scored
for LCCVI,
while Brendan Wells scored the lone marker
for the Cyclones.
LCCVI will now play St. Clair at home for
the first game of the playoffs. "It is not a
best two-out-of-three," Gould said. "It is
one game so anything can happen. We have to
play our game."
According to Gould, puck possession will
be key. "We have to fore-check well,"
he said.
"Which we have done all year. We can role
three lines and six defenseman and
three goalies. We have a lot of depth."
The Northern Vikings will play the North Lambton Eagles
in the other LSSAA playoff game.
