Right after the All Star Game the two top teams in the league met in Petrolia.  In this close game Northern fought back after being down by a goal to tie the game 3 - 3.

In the first period Northern took the lead after Cody Stout scored assisted by Eric Belanger and Steve Farlow.  With 1:47 left on the clock LCCVI tied things up with Connor Thompson from Dylan Lightfoot and Trevor Duncan scoring.

In the second the only goal scored was by Travis Whitely for LCCVI to give them the 2 - 1 lead heading into the third period.  Dylan Fraser and Kyle Limb assisted on the second goal for the Lancers.

Early in the third the Lancers widened their lead to 3 - 1 after Dan Warner found the pocket assisted by Cody McPhail and Brandon Campbell.  The Lancers took a penalty late in the period and the Vikings capitalized on it to score a powerplay goal and come within 1.  Ryan Hunt scored the powerplay goal assisted by Brent Sauve.  With just :48 seconds left on the clock and with the Vikings goalie pulled the Vikings came up with the tying goal and the game ended with both sides even at 3 apiece.  Ryan Hunt from Brent Sauve scored the tying goal for the Vikings.

In net for the Vikings was Chris Clark and for LCCVI Brandon Campbell.
