It was a very successful
day, with lots of great hockey in the Shamrock
Invitation 2008
Boys High School hockey tournament sponsored by St.
Patricks High School.
Two local teams came out on top. In the A Finals Sarnia
Collegiate (SCITS) took the Green Division Championship
(division 1A/2A schools) by defeating Blenheim District
High School by a score of 4 - 2.
In the Gold Division (3A/4A schools) Northern Collegiate
shutout Lambton Central Collegiate 2 - 0.
Other divisional winners were;
Green "B" division winners were St. Clair High School
taking the win in a shootout over Lambton Kent
Composite, final score 3 - 2. In the Gold Division
"B" final St. Thomas of Villanova defeated St. Patrick's
8 - 1.
