On Tuesday, June 2, in Tecumseh, the
St. Christopher Junior Girls' Soccer
Team defeated St. Anne's Secondary
School, Windsor, for the SWOSSAA
Junior Girls Soccer Championship.
The girls played 100 minutes, never
giving up. St. Christopher won 1-0
in penalty kicks. Goal scorers were
Jenna Prevost, Erin Alexanders, and
Danielle Girard. Outstanding
goaltending by Celine Norman and
tremendous defending by Carolyn
Doidge, Danielle Girard,
Erin Alexanders, and Rachel
Christner. The girls had an
outstanding season in the fall and
were able to hold on to their
undefeated title.
