vs St. Clair 2
LCCVI
Lancers doubled their score over the
St. Clair Colts with a 4 - 2 in
Petrolia Wednesday. LCCVI's
Davis Triest scored the first goal
for the Lancers :40 seconds into the
game. Cody McPhail assisted on
the first goal. The second
goal came at 2:39 with Joe Archer
scoring assisted by Kyle Brothers
and Jack McPhail. St. Clair
came back at 5:48 with their first
goal by Nathan Miller from Adam
VanHooft. Period would end
with the Lancers leading 2 - 1.
Second period action saw both teams
score powerplay goals the first by
LCCVI with Jake McPhail scoring.
Kulen Hellinga scored for St. Clair.
Both goals were unassisted.
In the
third an early goal by LCCVI put
them up 4 - 2 and the score remained
the same until the final buzzer.
Cody McPhail scored the final goal
for LCCVI assisted by Jesse Ferguson
and Davis Triest.
Cody Simpson earned the win in net
for LCCVI.
SCITS 3
vs St.Patrick's 3
In the
SCITS vs. St.Patrick's game.
St.Pats opened the scoring only 15
seconds into the game, when Joel
Acton capitalized on a SCITS
turnover in their own zone.
That remained the only goal until 4
minutes into the 2nd, when St.Pats
Kyle Buckle gave the Irish a
two-goal lead. It wasn't until late
in that period that SCITS were able
to get on the board, scoring two
goals, one with 3 minutes to go, and
the other with only 19 seconds left,
both goals scored by Pat Magermans.
In the 3rd period, at the halfway
mark, SCITS McKenzie Maxwell scored
while while the Bombers had a
two-man advantage. St.Patrick's
fought back, and with only three
minutes to go in the game, while on
a power play, Alex MacEachern scored
the equalizer. The Irish had a
couple of late chances, but SCITS
goalie Connor McKinlay kept the game
tied. The goalie for St.Pats was
Jordan Dugas.
