Game 2 of LSSAA Boys Hockey was held before a large crowd on Monday night at the Sarnia Arena.  Lambton Central Lancers led the series 1 – 0 going into this game.

Lambton Central was first on the scoreboard on a goal by Craig Rainsberry assisted by Matt Welsh. St. Patrick’s recovered quickly as they scored their first goal just :09 seconds after Lambton Central. St. Patrick’s goal was scored by Liam Boshell from Bobby Jubenville and Blair Wallce. With :20 seconds left on the clock St. Patrick’s took the lead when Brady Salenbien scored.. Assisting on Salebien’s goal was Adam DeSotti and Wes Carey.

 

Second period the action continue as both teams were unable to put one into the net as the score remain 2 – 1 for St. Patrick’s going into the third.



The Lancer’s tied the game on an unassisted goal by Deny Downie with 9:20 left on the clock. Both teams dug deep when the Lancer’s scored their 3rd goal and eventual game winner on an unassisted goal by Adam Steadman.

Winning goalie for Lambton Central was Kyle Straatman.

Lambton Central wins the series 2 games to 0.
