Battle of the Blues as both Bluewater Boys Teams
 went up against strong opponents in Semi Finals!

Bluewater White vs Chatham

At Grand Ave Park in Chatham the Bluewater White faced an improving Chatham Attack team in the first semi-final. In a tight game, near the end of the first half Christian Mauti scored from a header, putting the ball in the net off a corner kick from Franco Sproviero. Despite back and forth play and with solid goal tending from Blake Maxfield, Bluewater’s one goal stood up for 1-0 victory and a trip to the playoff finals.

Bluewater Blue vs Sarnia Fury

The second semi-final was held at Heritage Field in Sarnia; with Bluewater Blue facing Sarnia Fury. Bluewater opened the scoring midway through the first half on a shot from Adam Craievich with assists from Marco DiFederico and Andrew Shortt. Strong midfield play from Colin Osler, Colin Burchill, and Jordan Walsh kept the ball in Sarnia territory but Bluewater was unable to score. Bluewater added to their score in the second half with a goal from Chris Docherty with assists from Adam Craievich and Andrew Shortt. Stellar defense from Adriano Fuoco, Sam Fairbairn, and Cole Lauzon supported the offense and kept Sarnia at bay resulting in a 2-0 victory for Bluewater Blue. Mathew Szabo enjoyed the shutout in net.

With both Bluewater teams winning the playoff semi finals; an all Bluewater final will be held for the playoff championship. The final will be held at Heritage Park Tuesday August 21^st at 6:30 p.m. The Bluewater Boys teams are sponsored by Sandrin Bros and Palazzi Tile.
