Exciting Match July 5, 2007   Kern Water Systems defeated Langtree Navy 3 – 2 in a close and exciting game.   The play was end to end the whole game through, with plenty of opportunities for each team to score goals.  However, strong defensive play by both teams made for an exciting, fast paced game.  Langtree opened the scoring with a goal scored by Justin Riley-Meyer who quickly pounced on a misplaced goal kick making it 1 – 0 early in the first half.  The action was end to end with no goals until the final minutes of the first half when Kern Water Systems added a goal to tie the game 1 – 1.  Again Langtree opened the scoring in the second half with another goal from Justin Riley-Meyer assisted by Denver Taylor and Tim MacNaughton.  Langtree led the majority of the second half with plenty of good saves from Chase McRae but Kern Water Systems added two goals late in the second half to win the game 3 – 2.   Both teams played well and provided the spectators with an exciting match.
