Sarnia Fury vs Wallaceburg

Sarnia travelled to Wallaceburg recently to take on the first place team in a game that took a lot out of the Fury.  Sarnia was down 4 players from their 15 person roster, which left them with no spares on a very hot and muggy night.  During the second half, Jared Bagley was injured and Fury was then left to finish the game one player short on the field.  Wallaceburg was kept to only two goals against the visiting team during the first half.  By the start of the second half the boys were really feeling the lack of additional players.  Wallaceburg had a full field and bench of spares, and their team was able to substitute frequently and keep fresh legs moving up and down the pitch.   Although most of the players for Sarnia did not give up and continued to push as much as they could, they couldn't stop Wallaceburg from slipping past them to score 5 times more before the end of the game.

The end result was a 7 - 0 loss for Sarnia.  This was not their night.  Better luck next time boys, and don't give up!!!!  You are better than that.  Together you can win, and Coaches Medeiros and Tanner know it.
