Sarnia Spirit vs Chatham

The Sarnia Spirit defeated their league rivals - Chatham with a final score of 3 - 1.
The girls played an excellent game with some great passing plays.  Strong performances
by Kristi Puglsey, Allison Deery, Melissa Blair and Amily Schaefer.
Scoring for Sarnia were Kristen Parkes with 2 and Mackenzie Turner with a single.
Danielle Graham was in net for the win.

Sarnia Spirit vs London United Typhoons

The Spirit traveled to London and went up against another fierce competitor
 the London United Typhoons.   In this match both sides were evenly matched
but it was the Spirit that came out on top with a single goal by Maria Vani for a
final 1 - 0 score.  The Sarnia girls played an aggressive game keeping the pressure on with
strong defensive plays by Emily Sparham and Melissa Bennett.

Outstanding in net for the Spirit was Danielle Graham earning her second shutout of the season.

The Spirit U11 are now tied for 4th in the standings race with a total of 6 wins, 3 loss with
a total of 27 Goals For (GF) and 12 Goals Against (GA)

The Spirit U11's are back in action this Saturday - June 16th when they host the
Guelph Royals.  Kick off is at noon at Veterans Field #4.
