Middlesex
United Tournament
The Sarnia Spirit U-14B
team participated in their first tournament of the
season and came home with only letting in one goal
and tying all three games.
Saturday morning they
went against St.Thomas, with the game remaining
scoreless, both teams fought till the bitter end
with Alison Wookey getting a shutout for the Sarnia
Spirit Team. Saturday afternoon Sarnia Spirit played
against Middlesex United with Middlesex United
getting the first goal. Veronica Carpani scored the
tying goal for the Spirit as the game ended 1-1.
On Sunday morning the
Sarnia Spirit fought with vigour against London City
Falcons, but surprisingly came up empty handed as
the game remained scoreless as Alison Wookey received
her second shutout of the tournament.
