The Guelph Royals came to town and took 3 points with them. Early in the game, the Spirit were caught off guard and Guelph was ahead 1-0. Sarnia had control of the ball for at least 75% of the game but again couldn't find the back of the net. After a hand ball was called inside the Guelph's box, Danielle St. Germain evened the score at 1 goal a piece. Minutes later, Guelph was awarded a penalty shot and got the go ahead goal. They also managed to hold on for the win 2-1.

The Sarnia Spirit have a busy weekend coming up as they face Windsor at home on Saturday the 21st at 3pm, Guelph again at home on Sunday the 22nd at 3pm, and travel to Kitchener on Monday the 23rd.
