The Sarnia Fury, sponsored by Boston Pizza and Tecsar, opened their inaugural season in the Western Ontario Soccer League's Premier Division with a 2-0 win over crosstown rivals the Bluewater Blaze Thursday night at the Dante Club. 

Jordy Bettridge opened the scoring for the Fury finding the back of the net from a rebound opportunity.  Liam Boshell scored an insurance marker in the second half.  After collecting a long outlet pass from Joe Kusnir, Boshell found himself with only the Bluewater goalkeeper to beat, and slid it past the advancing 'keeper to double the Fury lead.  Shane Bettridge posted the shutout for the Fury.
