Sarnia U12's
travelled to Byron
for their 1st game
of the season to
face Byron.
In
very tough weather
conditions, it was
very much a midfield
battle with Sarnia
proving to be The
better 1st half
team. Richael
O'Neill and Ryan
Lyle played solid in
the middle of the
park.
Sarnia's best
chance came when
Dylan Caron broke
through but had the
shot stopped by the
Byron keeper.
Second half saw
Byron come out
strong in a 20
minute spell which
seemed to rattle
Sarnia and Byron
Jumped to a 4 - 0
lead. Sarnia tried
to get back into the
game with some
strong runs from
Richael O'Neill with
Sarnia just failing
to convert the
crosses.Ryan Kennedy
also had a great
chance at the edge
of the 18 yard box
but Seen his shot go
wide.
Sarnia's
frustrations mounted
when Craig Gunn was
carried off with a
heavy ankle knock
and Ryan Kennedy
leaving the game
With a hit to the
knee.
Final score 4 - 0
