Meets Eastside
Kickers (Windsor) in Regular League Action for Scoreless Tie
On
Saturday, June 21, 2008 Sarnia traveled to Windsor to meet
the Eastside Kickers for the first time. Eastside came out
hard giving Jessie Kozachuck, Sarnia’s keeper, a good run.
Jessie had a beautiful save during a 1:1 challenge with an
Eastside Striker. Both teams were playing aggressive
soccer. In the second half, Jessie Kozachuk once again rose
to the occasion to make many saves to keep Sarnia alive.
Sarnia seemed to be playing on their heels during the first
30 minutes of the 2nd half but then they breathed
new life into their game! Sarnia‘s great passing,
communication and teamwork in the closing minutes of the
game put extreme pressure on the Kickers. It was a well
fought soccer battle ending the game scoreless for both
sides. |
