Sarnia Spirit at Kitchener Spirit

Sarnia Spirit travelled to Kitchener on June 28^th to play the Kitchener Spirit.  Kitchener started off looking strong hitting 2 goal posts early in the game.  Sarnia then kicked it into gear and took control of the first half creating glorious opportunities to score.  The goal post in Kitchener’s end was also hit three times within a ten minute span.  Kitchener took the lead with a long shot that looped into the back of the net.  The second half was a little slower but still some beautiful scoring chances created and missed.    Sydney Mellon found the back of Kitchener’s net to tie the game at a final score of 1-1. 

Sarnia is currently tied with Kitchener in 2^nd place.  Sarnia has two games in hand with both the first place team and Kitchener.
