Monday August 10th
 Sarnia Produce vs. Tomlinson Enterprises
(Subway Cup)

 
Monday night featured a battle of division leaders with Sarnia Produce facing Tomlinson Enterprises in Subway Cup play. Both teams were eager to score first with select opportunities however good goaltending and defence prevailed.  The opening goal came in the 30th min. of play when Lenny DeCarolis sent striker Livio Dimurro a perfect through pass which was finished with a well placed shot in the top right corner of the Tomlinson net. Sarnia Produce led at the half 1 - 0.
 
Produce came out in the second half looking for more and it didn't take long. Striker Dino DeCarolis nailed a beautiful shot from 30 yards out which hit the top right corner of the goal catching  the Tomlinson keeper off-guard. Not to be out done, Tomlinson pulled one back late in the second half with a shot which rebounded off the post and backside of Produce goalie Olindo Desena to find the net. That was as close as it got as Sarnia Produce finished with the win 2 - 1.

Thursday August 13th
 Sarnia Produce vs. SarCor Rebar (League)

 
Sarnia Produce met SarCor Rebar Thursday night, under the lights in League play.  The game began at a very fast pace with both teams anxious to get scoring.  Not many chances arose on goal as both teams found it difficult to penetrate the 18 yrd box.  In the 35th min. of play, Sarnia Produce was awarded a free kick at the 45yrd. marker with Produce defender Gus Tsaprailas taking the shot. Amazingly the ball found the Rebar goal eluding goalkeeper Mario DiCocco whom had lost it in the lights. Produce went into the half up 1 - 0.
 
The second half seemed to imitate the first with the two squads coming hard and fast.  The only real scoring opportunity came in the later stages of the game when Theo Tsaprailis headed a corner towards the net which was headed out by a SarCor defender to keep the game close.  Produce keeper Olindo Desena Jr. was solid again the preserve the shutout and win.
