Produce returned to the pitch to
face a full LanXess team in League
action play. Produce opened the
scoring in the 10th min. of play
when Peter Tavabis delivered a
corner kick which found the foot of
midfielder Peter Nasiokas who made a
quick charge to the net. Most of
the play was in the Lanxess end with
considerable missed opportunities by
the Azzurri. In the 35th
min. following a second corner by
Peter Tavabis, midfielder Theo
Tsaprailis drove a line drive into
the left corner of the Lanxess goal.

Early in
the second half LanXess came out
strong seeking to get back in the
game only to be turned back by a
strong defensive showing. The
Azzurri got their third goal in the
70th min. of play when Stephan
Sirois crossed a ball into the box
and striker Livio DiMurro redirected
it into the left opening of the
goal. Produce goalie Alex Tsprailis
made a huge diving save in the final
stages of the game to preserve the
shutout bid. Final score Sarnia
Produce 3 - LanXess 0 .
