Industries (4)
For Dante: Reid Robinson
scored his first goal tonight, Congratulations Ried!
Matthew Kheler had the second goal. Good ball
control by Josh Riley-Meyer, Mason Winegard-Milne
made some nice defensive plays and Tyler Vansickle
had a couple of great rushes on net. Gavin Baillie,
Nate Snauwaert and Makayla Repaich helped their team
out with great steals, passes and perseverance! In
net was Saaim Khan and Mitchel Schechinger.
All Season (2) vs Tim
Horton's (2)
For All Seasons:
Congratulations to All Seasons trophies on a 2-2
tie against Tim Hortons. Despite the fact that
the team only had one sub for part of the game
and two towards the end all the boys played with
determination and never quit. Eric MacDonald and
Brody Morgan were the goal scorers. Excellent
goal tending by Justin Torti, Luca Pasqualucci
and Matthew Gouveia. Heads up defense by Justin
and Luca as well, where they were joined by
Ashton Pevec and Eric MacDonald. Excellent
offensive effort by Brady Krasinkiewicz, Matthew
Gouveia, Austin Cressman, Robbie Persichetti and
Brody Morgan. Special mention to Ashton Pevec
who had an excellent game where he was involved
in many key plays. Congratulations to all the
boys on an excellent season, with a virtually
undefeated second half. All three of your
coaches would like to thank you for your energy
and effort this season...we are very proud of
you all!
For Tim's: For the
final game of the 2009 soccer season, Tim
Horton's played Navy to a hard fought 2-2 tie.
Scoring for Tim Horton's were Aidan James and
Aaron Smith. On Aaron's goal, RJ Solomone did
the lion's share of the work, dribbling 2/3 the
length of the field only to have the goalie make
a save, then RJ kicked the rebound off the post,
then was unlucky to lose the ball at his feet
and then Aaron popped in the rebound. Great
work RJ! Way to be in the right spot at the
right time Aaron. Of note, Aaron Smith used a
lot of skill to score in every game this
season. Nik Sommer and Caeden Espinola both had
great games, getting more involved in the play
and making opportune kicks and stops. Mkanya
Esengi, Owen Chambers, Christopher Blair, Jordan
Foster and Kai Mandolesi had their usual solid
games, dribbling up field, getting back on
defense and clearing the ball when needed.
Matteo DiCocco had some excellent goal kicks
during his time in net. To all red team
players: a great season (no losses), all
players learned and improved a lot, I hope
everyone had fun, and I hope to see you on the
soccer field in the coming years.
