U6 Highlights from Aug 7th

For Dante: Tough game tonight. All the kids worked hard but couldn't seem to get it in the net! Great sportsmanship and a nice effort by all.

Millers Chiropractic (2) vs Tim Hortons (2)

For Millers: Miller Chiropractic and Wellness Centre VS Tim Horton’s – It was a tight game ending in a 2 all tie.  Carter Viglasky and Kyle MacDonald each scored beautiful goals for the Blue Team and kept the ball moving in the right direction.  Connor Book and Jeffery Hebert where all over the field lending support at every moment possible.  Even though the Miller Boys were short handed they played strong and didn’t give up.  Matthew Stojcevski played a strong second half in net for the Miller Boys and kept Tim Horton’s from getting the ball past the goal line.  It was a hard fought tie, but an exciting game to watch.  Way to go boys! 

For Tim's: Tim Horton's played Royal to a hard fought 2-2 tie.  Tim Horton's goals were both scored by Aaron Smith.  Excellent game saving saves were made by goaltenders Kai Mandolesi, Chistopher Blair and Caeden Espinola.  Aidan James, R.J. Solomone, Christopher Blair and Mkanya Esengi used their speed defensively time and again to foil Royal's offense.  Aaron Smith, Mkanya Esengyi, R.J. Solomone and Aidan James each made several dribbling runs into the offensive zone to give goal scoring chances.  Nik Sommer, Matteo DiCocco and Jordan Foster got into the mix providing key kicks when necessary.
