U6 Highlights for July 24th

All Seasons (2) vs Dante (1)
For Dante:  Dante played very well with Mason playing net in the first half and Reid in the second making great saves.  Good defence by Gavin, Tyler, Nate and Mitchell and great effort up front by Saaim, Makayla, Josh and the rest of the team.  Josh scored the lone goal for Dante on a great run.
For All Seasons: Congratulations to Eric Morgan for his goal and solid defense. Congratulations to Matthew Gouveia for excellent goal tending. Great offensive support by Austin Cressman who really pushed the ball up the field and by Luca Pasqualucci. Excellent defense by Justin Torti, Ryan Yang, Robbie Persichetti and Ashton Pevec. Special mention to Brody Morgan who played a great game and scored the winning goal. The boys are on a role as a team...well done!

Miller Chiropractic (4) vs Trijan Industries (0)
For Miller: This week saw Miller Chiropractic and Wellness Centre take on Trijan Industries again.  Miller Chiropractic and Wellness Centre came out on top with a 4-0 victory.  These boys are passing the ball and playing like a team more and more every week.  It is great to see the improvements and changes during the games.  Matteus Hartmann started the game off with a beautiful goal that got the Miller Boys on the score board.  Connor Book worked hard and after many great attempts finally got one past the Trijan goalie.  It wasn’t an easy task and Carter Viglasky had to work equally as hard to get his shot in the net.  Kyle Macdonald finished the game off with another great shot after many attempts and brought the score to 4 for the Miller Chiropractic and Wellness Centre team.  Keeping the Trijan Industries team at bay were two great goalies, Aiden Matuzic and Cyrus Sinople.  Nothing was getting past these boys as they deflected every goal attempt made on them.  Way to go Miller Boys!  Team work is the way to go!

Tim Horton's (2) vs Coffee Lodge (1)
For Tim's: Tim Horton's came out ahead 2-1 in a closely fought game against Orange this week. Both Tim's goals were scored by Owen Chambers.  Mkanya Esengi and Aidan James both had great chances to score as well, but were thwarted by the defenders and goalkeeper.  Christopher Blair, Owen Chambers and Aidan James made some great defensive plays.  Kai Mandolesi, Mkanya Esengi and R.J. Solomone had a lot of ball possession time, using it to dribble up field into the attacking zone.  Nik Sommer and Caeden Espinola got involved in the play numerous times by kicking the ball upfield.  Two of our team members, Aaron Smith and Jordan Foster showed great sportsmanship by playing for the orange team who were short players, and they both had a excellent game with Aaron Smith playing amazing defense and scoring the lone goal for Orange and Jordan making some great saves in net and making some runs with the ball upfield.  Thanks for helping out boys.

Hogan's Pharmacy (3) vs A1 Security (4)

For Hogan's: Anthony Smoth had all three goals tonight! great Job!
For A1: Firstly the game started off fast with the boys taking control of the game, the first go was set up by Ethan it was from his quick thinking , that he threw the ball from the half way line to Anthony allowing him to run ahead of all the other teams players and taking the ball past the goal keeper and sticking it in the back of the net.

Our second goal came from an outstanding passing marathon between Anthony throwing the ball in and Eric taking it up the line a little way then passing it to Jake then Jake taking it around 2 players then passing it to Thomas, allowing Thomas to pass it into the path of Eric then he took it up to the keepers area and fired it into the net.
Third Goal was by Costa he was passed to by Jake and ran the ball to the net and slipped it passed the keeper.
Forth Goal was by Eric he made a run for goal smashed the ball hard the keeper got in the way of the ball but Eric followed it up and planted it into the goal. Our team was Thomas, Branyan, Ben, Eric, Costa, Ethan, Ryan, Anthony, Chris, Jake.
