Highlights for U8
CEPU (3) vs Hazlitt/Steves/Harris (1)
For CEPU: They boys all had a great night tonight.
Everyone was passing and moving the ball around
exceptionally well. Spencer Baillie had 2 goals
tonight and Cole Phillips fought hard for his 1
goal! Great offensive plays by Connor Post, Caleb
Wiersma and Brody Phillips. Ryan Mackiln and Tairen
Snauwaert had a couple of good shots on net. Great
defence by Hayden Snauwaert and Liam Miller. Working
Hard in net were Hayden and Tairen Snauwaert.
For H/S/H: Ayden Letang scored H.S.H.'s only goal on
long Direct kick from well outside the Box.
Waymic Constrution (3) Contro Valve (4)
For Waymic: Mark Bridge had 2 goals with Luke
Zweigle scoring 1 goal for Waymic.
For Contro Valve: A season of perseverance paid off
for Diane Clarke tonight scoring her first for the
season from a nice pass from Mann Shah. Blake Hogan
scored a single and later cranked another rocket at
the Waymic goalie, who made a fabulous top shelf
save but our Christopher Sanchez raced in for the
rebound to score his first for the season also.
Carter DeSantis scored also after picking up a
rebound that hit the post from a shot by our
Nicholas Chopp. Our keepers tonight were Sam
Wilhelm & Brayden Adrian.
Tim Hortons (4) vs
John's Restaurant (2)
For Tim's: The game started off slowly with only 5
players a side and Tim Hortons scored early with a
well placed shot from Seth Pynaert assisted by a
delightfully perfect pass from Jonah Schaller. Seth
scored again in the first half with an soaring lob
over the goalie's head. Logan Watson was great in
goal pulling off quite a few good saves.
The game was tied at half time at 2-2. With both
teams now at full strength and with sufficient
substitutes, it was Benjamin Pozdyk and Logan's turn
to prop up Tim's score to 4 thus giving Thomas
Cardinal a well-earned shut out.
Harveys FC (10) vs Langtree Controls (3)
For Harveys : Nolan
DeGurse 5, Mark Barsoum 2 , Kaleb Zeyinoglu 2, Evan
Trigatti 1
For Langree : Langtree Controls was
off to a good start scoring the first two goals, but
Harvey's good positioning, passing, and
aggressiveness in the second half was too much for
Langtree. Jaxon scored all three Langtree goals
while Jonathan Weil, and Jonathan king made a couple
of good defensive plays to prevent even more scoring
chances. Stefan played well in the net in the first
half coming out of the net to challenge Harvey's
offence preventing a couple of goals. James made a
couple of nice moves to create a couple scoring
chances but couldn't find the net.
Silk Screen (1) vs Chalmers (3)
For Chalmers: Cole
Goossens 1, Logan Tardiff 1, Logan Johnston1
