Sarnia City opened their 2009 season on the road in Chatham dropping a 3-2 decision to the Eagles. Julie Wardell scored both goals for City.

Sarnia City then played host to St Thomas settling on a 0-0 draw. Heather Ireland kept the score sheet clean for City.

The next week will be a busy one for City as the women travel to face newly promoted London Scottish, host perennial power London Marconi on Friday night and then play on the road once again versus London Portuguese.

All home games are played at Lambton College and kick off at 6:45pm. Admission is free.
