The
Sarnia Fury U14 premier team
hosted Cambridge on Saturday at
the Dante Club. The boys
dominated from the outset and
led 1-0 at the half on a goal by
Tristan Wildschut. The boys
also missed 2 more great
opportunities to score before
the half and that would prove
costly as Cambridge came out and
potted 2 quickies to start the
second half to go up 2-1.

Cambridge continued to pour on
the pressure until Jakob
Atkinson made a beautiful cross
into the box finished by a
spectacular header by Christian
McCormick to tie the game at 2.
Unfortunately that tie was short
lived as the Sarnia keeper lost
the ball in the sun and had it
bounce off his chest and into
the back of the net. Cambridge
added a 4th goal as Sarnia
pressed for the tying goal and
once more the boys suffer a
disappointing loss.
The next game is Tuesday the
18th 6:45 at the Dante Club.
