The Sarnia Fury
U-14 Premier team headed to Windsor Saturday
afternoon against the Caboto Strikers. This
was an evenly played match. Unfortunately 4
minutes of bad football cost Sarnia 4 goals
and that was the difference as Sarnia lost
4-1. The boys play 2 40 minute halves.
Windsor scored at the 39th and 40 minute
marks of the first half erasing what was a
pretty good effort to that point. Early in
the second half Sarnia was awarded a penalty
and Rick Primeau touched the back of the net
to bring Sarnia within 1. Windsor then
scored 2 more goals in a 2 minute span and
that was the game as the Caboto Strikers
came away with a 4-1 win.
Next action is Tuesday night against Benfica
in London.
