Sarnia Spirit U10 Defeat Wallaceburg

Sarnia U10's hosted Wallaceburg B team in a game that would keep Sarnia top of their District League Division.

Sarnia started very strong and built up a solid lead in the 1st half . Julie Blanchette opened the scoring from a nice pass from Sydney Caron. Julie then turned provider with a low cross into net for Chloe Kennedy to shot and score. Mickayla Moses and Carmen Handy played a nice 1 - 2 pass down the wing for Mickayla to score. Sarah McCormick then played a nice through ball for Mickayla to pick up her second.
Strong play from Sydney Caron again found Chloe Kennedy with the pass for Chloe to grab her second goal.
Skylr Melton added another with a nice chip over the goalie and Sydney Caron rounded off the half with a low drive into the net. Morgan Waggs had the 1st half shut out for Sarnia in net.
 

 
Sarnia used the second half to work more on their passing game and at times move the ball excellent and showed some great team work. Sarnia's next goal came from a 7 pass combination with Mickayla Moses scoring for her hat trick. A Sydney Caron free kick was met by Morgan Waggs at the back post to tap in.
Skylr Melton scored her second with some nice passing from Chloe Kennedy and Sydney Caron. Julie Blanchette also scored her second with a rebound from Mickayla Moses hitting the bar. Carmen Handy then added a goal with a hard shot to the roof of the net and Sydney Caron completed her double late in the game.
Madison Mika also completed her shut out in net for Sarnia 2nd half.
 
Sarnia Spirit U10's next outing is the Middlesex Tournament @ Strathroy Jun 6th and 7th
