Sarnia Spirit U10 Lose to Chatham
 
Sarnia hosted 2nd place Chatham recently looking to keep their perfect league record at the top of
the league.

From the start Chatham looked very hungry and put Sarnia under some early pressure. There was little
Morgan Waggs could do in net as Chatham took an early 2 - 0 lead.

Sarnia fought back with Chloe Kennedy breaking free but hitting a hard shot off the post.
Skylr Melton was finding good space on the right side and had a couple of efforts save by the goalie.
Just before half Chatham sent a long ball through and caught out the Sarnia defence, a brilliant stop from
Morgan Waggs denied Chatham another goal.

Second half Sarnia pressed to get back in top the game. Sydney Caron and Sarah McCormick, in centre midfield tried hard to create chances. Sarnia's defence were also kept busy with Alexa Eldridge, Madisyn Mika making crucial tackles on Chathams breaks. Sarnia kept pushing again Kennedy having now luck and rattling the post It was then Skylr Melton with another low shot saved on the line by Chatham.
It was then Mickayla Moses finding space in the box, her powerful shot was half saved and Sarnia were again denied with a save off the line. Sarnia then looked to have ran out of steam as Chatham managed to score 2 more and defeat Sarnia by the score of 4 - 0.
