Sarnia Spirit (0) vs. North London Lasers (1)

Sarnia Girls hosted the London Lasers on their home field Monday, June 29th.  The girls knew they were in for a tough game as their first meeting of the season ended in a scoreless tie.  

The first half of play ended in a very defensive game for Sarnia with several scoring opportunities as well but they just could not put any away.  Mackenzie Turner came up with some big saves keeping the London scoring to zero.   The second half started again on a strong defensive game for Sarnia and London had to change their game if they were to penetrate the strong Sarnia defence.   Sarnia continued with a hard fought game but they would come up short with London finding the back of the net first with only 4 minutes of play remaining.  Lasers would take the win by a score of 1-0.
