In Lambton Kent soccer action the Sarnia Spirit U-15 faced off in their second league game, on Tuesday night, against the Petrolia U-17 at the Sarnia Girls Soccer Fields.

The Spirit won 4-0 with goals by Samantha Taraborrelli with two, and Erin Babbey and Samantha Pakvis with singles. The Spirit took the early lead with Erin Babbey putting the Spirit on the board. Next Samantha Taraborrelli and Samantha Pakvis scored to put the Sarnia Spirit up by three goals. After tough pressure from the Petrolia girls, Taraborrelli fought hard to put one more goal on the score sheet, and earned player of the game in the process.

Deanna Ritchie played a powerful game in net, making numerous saves to record the shut out.
